Lunasol Ocean Scene Eyes in 02 Natural Ocean
This is a very delayed post about the last addition to my Lunasol eye shadow collection. My cousin very kindly bought it and sent it over along with the ones she bought for my sister. So nice!!!
Lunasol Ocene Scene Eyes in 02 Natural Ocean
A super pretty and glamorous neutral palette!
This palette really does well in giving that look of ocean sand.
The finish is intensely shimmery and very neutral with a twist of bling. The colours are also very pigmented and you can’t go wrong when using this palette. Love it so much!!
I have come to the conclusion that all of the Ocean Scene eyeshadows turn up better on the eyes with sponge applicators, rather than brushes!
I thought I would do a comparison between the blues, since The Ocean Scene collection all have blues in the palette.
Top: 02 Natural Ocean; From bottom left: 04 Smoky Ocean & 01 Warm Ocean
All the blues are quite subtle when applied on the eyes and I use them as inner corner highlighters.
So as you can see, Warm Ocean has the richest blue out of all of them.
Natural Ocean’s blue is the lightest, while Smoky Ocean has the dullest blue, to finish off the bluish grey smoky look.
Oooo I love shimmery brown palettes! Was this one expensive?
The Lunasol palettes are a bit more exi for Jap products at $60AUD-ish ^^ check out the Visee stuff too! I love their brown palettes!
Hiya
Found your blog via the WORD project 🙂
Read a few posts down that you recently got the Lumix lx5. I’m actually thinking of getting a new camera because I’m so annoyed with my current one. Does the lx5 take good indoors/low light shots without flash? How are you liking the camera so far?
Sowee this comment isn’t related to your post 😦
hihi, the Lx5 is quite good in low light. The pictures we took of the dessert was in a restaurant with very low lighting, and it managed to take decent shots, enhanced with a bit of fiddling around with the settings. One of the big reasons we got the Lx5 was because we wanted a camera good for low lighting shots for dinners and stuff (without flash). Hope this helps 🙂
